Since we have an abundance of space here in our kennel, we occasionally foster homeless or unwanted dogs that are in need a temperary home while a permanent family is being found for them.

If you are looking to adopt a rescued dog or you have a dog in desperate need of a new home, please contact us at cheadeauxkennels@hotmail.com and we would be happy to assist you.

We are currently screening potential adopters for a beautiful young adult male Shih Tzu x Bichon mix. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old. We are looking for an adult-only home for him as he tends to be dominant towards children. He is excellent with other dogs as well as cats. He is in great health and he is up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He is mostly housetrained, but on occasion will have an accident if he is not let out for long periods of time.
